Dear Shipmates and Visitors, Welcome to the new HMNZS Otago website. Our aim is to have news items posted on it at
least monthly and we would really appreciate your input. If you have
photographs or ditties and would like to share these with others, please
either email them or send them to the secretary, Noel Davies. The Association has been in existence for 19 years
and it amazes me that it still continues to grow. Sadly a number of our
members have “crossed the bar” but we are still receiving new
applications from some members of the ship’s company. If you are
just visiting the website and are not a member, and if you served
in Otago at any
time, we would welcome your membership application. If you were previously
a member why not rejoin us The Otago Association is active and in addition to its annual reunion, the committee meet quarterly to progress the business of the association and to consider how it can assist its members. We are fortunate to have the services of John Stables, who is willing to help any of our members who seek advise on welfare, pensions, etc. It has been particularly pleasing to see the name
of Otago being revived with the name being given to one of the
new ships currently under construction. We are looking forward to being
associated with the new ship. If you would like to contact the secretary, or me,
